Spring Cleaning and New Home Dreaming

By | February 25th, 2017|Activities-Events, Residents, Sales|0 Comments

Ah, spring! That time of year when our thoughts turn to renewal, leprechauns, Easter eggs, new beginnings, and baseball.

For our snowbird residents at Americana Cove, spring can be bittersweet as it means cleaning up, packing up, saying goodbye to good friends, and sometimes selling or buying a new place before heading back north.

Have you been contemplating making a purchase? Do you have your new home checklist ready? What are your “must haves” in a winter home or permanent retirement place?

At Americana Cove, we are an active adult community with 23 organized clubs and activities. There is some type of lunch, dinner, dance, or cook-out nearly every week during high season featuring live entertainment by local musicians. These events have a modest cost, and some are completely free of charge.

Not into all that clubby stuff? Perhaps you’d rather relax at our new state-of-the-art swimming pool and tiki hut while sipping an adult beverage and enjoying the sights of manatees and the occasional dolphin swimming through our lake and canals.

Whether you are into partying and mixing in, or keeping it low key and cocooning, Americana Cove has what you want.

What about what you need? In addition to the social activities and nice facilities, Americana Cove is resident-owned and in good financial shape. You can purchase here with the confidence of knowing your investment is a smart one.

If you’re ready to grab your own little piece of paradise, talk to our sales staff. We have several available sites awaiting your new custom manufactured home, homes for resale, and homes for rent. What are you waiting for?!

Community of the Year!

By | January 6th, 2017|MAROA, Residents|0 Comments

Welcome Home!

What a way to start the new year! I recently had the pleasure of attending a Community Association Institute (CAI) breakfast with our board members to accept a “Community of the Year” award for our region. We were one of only three communities recognized, so when one considers the number of co-op and condo communities with which we compete, this is an attractive feather in the Americana Cove cap! Our region covers the geographic area of Hillsborough, Pinellas, and Pasco counties, with a total population of nearly 2.5 million people.

CAI Member and Americana Cove Staff & Board   Manager Jane Jarlenski, & Board of Directors: Nan Olney, Tom Wallace, Beverly Baker, Dave Casey and Chuck MacDonald.

We were recognized for efficient management of our major infrastructure upgrades, quality of amenities, financial stability, and vendor/residential testimonials. If you are already a resident here, you know what a gem we have in this community. If you are considering making a move to Florida, whether permanent or seasonal snowbird, this is just one more reason to put Americana Cove at the very top of your new home shopping list.
