Computer Club

The Computer Club meets in the Atrium at 10:00 AM the third Tuesday of each month. This group continues to meet during the summer months.

The primary intent of our group is to help one another by sharing our skills and experience. Club attendees embrace a wide range of computer knowledge from beginners not yet comfortable with a keyboard to professional engineers and radio ham operators, TV technicians to computer programmers. A parallel program within the park (CFOC) of recycled machines has provided free computers to over 50 beginners who were anxious to see what the Internet World was all about. Some of us chug along with old PC's - others have the latest and greatest; some dial-up to the Free-Net while others have premium "Broadband" of Road Runner or DSL type services.

Our Listbot at the Cove is a private system, a little like an exclusive "By Invitation Only" country club!!! Our only subscribers are folks who live in our park. We never recieve unsolicited email from advertisers (spam) on our listbot. The messages posted on our listbot are only sent to our park subscribers, it is sent instantly to all of the other subscribers..... including you.

Want to join our "BOT"? It's Free! Just call our moderator, Conrad Wieser (522-5008) and tell him the email address where you want to recieve the listbot messages. If you go North for the Summer, give him your email address there and he will change you over. It's mighty handy to keep track of park happenings while you are away.
